José Antonio Manchado was born in Lanzarote in 1976.
He is the author of the books “Be happier than the Dalai Lama” and “¿Estás enfermo? ¡Enhorabuena! Descubre la oportunidad en la enfermedad” (Are you ill? Congratulations! Discover the opportunity in illness).
Furthermore he is an instructor in overcoming adversity and inner growth, trainer and conference speaker.
He is also a certified firewalking instructor by the Firewalking Institute of Research and Education, Dallas, USA.
He is a master of Ancestral Tibetan Bowl Therapy, Modern Bowl Therapy, Gong Therapy, Reiki Usui and Reiki Shin-Do.
Since 1998 he has been in constant practice and learning through various masters (Monks, Tibetan Buddhist Lamas and Zen) in the fields of meditation, healing, sound therapy, energy and vibration therapies.
In 2001 he is initiated in Vajrayana Buddhism (taken from Tibetan Buddhist Refuge) under the name Karma Dorje Jikme.
José Antonio Manchado has been specially trained in the study and practice of Meditation (Shinee and Shamata), mindfullness meditation, relaxation techniques, mental purification, Hatha Yoga, pranayama by different teachers, such as Akong Rinpoche, Lama Sangye, Sogyal Rinpoche, Jorge Díaz.
He has organized and participated in various Tibetan and Zen Buddhist retreats and formation events.
Continued training and experimentation since 1998 in Ancestral Tibetan and Modern Bowl Therapy, Gong Therapy, Vibrational Acupuncture and Harmonic Healing with different masters including Kalu Tseng (Tibet), Karma Dorje Senge (Nepal), Gong Master Adrey Lee (China), Jorge Díaz (Spain), Bruce Manaka (USA) amongst others.
He gives courses, workshops, conferences, retreats of mental calmness, release of fears, meditation as well as different events and workshops of mental, physical and spiritual well-being.
