To be present in the here and now, could seem to be a difficult task seen from the mental agitation that we live daily.
However, we can train it in a very simple way by integrating it in our lifestyle.
The state of presence or full attention means to remain attentive and awake to the moment, aware of each instant.
We escape from the stress, the hijacking of our thoughts and the everyday automatisms, focusing on the experience of the now and appreciating it fully.
Like this we relax towards life, towards what we do, we perceive with more lucidity, and we re-establish vital energy and health.
We develope this state through the body, the mind and the senses.
In order to be more and more present in your everyday life, here are some very helpful practices: – When you walk, by focusing your attention on one part of your body, for example, the movements of each foot. – Meditate a few minutes a day (through self-observation). – When contemplating (a place, a sunset…), practicing the intention of not judging. – Breathing (observe how you breathe while performing a task). – Putting all the attention on listening (the sounds around, a conversation…).
